STRUCTURAL REVIEW COMMENTS:

1. Proposed suspended ceiling in this project is of "wood" material which is heavier in weight than the conventional light weight gypsum ceiling tiles. Details shown for suspended ceiling are meant as prescriptive details for light-weight ceilings, so please provide structural design for the proposed wood suspended ceiling framing and suspended brace system.
2. Architectural drawings shows new "curtain wall" system, please provide design for the proposed curtain wall system.
3. Structural calculation page provided for review states that no new lateral loads are imposed as one of the existing exterior wall is moved out to form the enclosure's new exterior wall. Agreed but, the details for the braced panels in the new exterior wall still needs to be calculated and their details shown on the plan. Please provide the details along-with the supporting calcs.
4. Seems like the foundation design for the new foundations is not provided, please provide these details and calcs.

1. The occupancy class listed is incorrect. The sales floor would be a mercantile occupancy. Provide a corrected occupancy class and correlate all applicable requirements.
2. There are sheets that have different areas on them. Ensure all sheets correlate properly.
3. Sheet A0.0: The occupant load calculation for the sales area is incorrect. See previous comment regarding occupancy classification. Provide a corrected occupant load calculation.
4. Provide a complete list of special inspections as required by Ch. 17.
