Clarify if the garage door header is existing and is to remain once the wall infill is removed or if a new header will be installed. If a new header is required, indicate its size on the framing plan. BUILDING REVIEW COMMENTS: Approved MECHANICAL REVIEW COMMENTS: Approved ELECTRICAL REVIEW COMMENTS Denied 1. Note that all new or replaced 15- and 20-amp outlets shall be tamper proof type. 2017 NEC 210.52. 2. Note that the new receptacles in the garage will be GFCI protected. 2018 IRC E3902.2. 3. Clarify if the area in the garage next to the sink is to be a work counter and would require outlets to be installed in accordance with 2018 IRC E3901.4. This area is shown empty on the dimensioned floor plan sheet A1.0 however appears like a built in counter on the electrical plan. PLUMBING REVIEW COMMENTS: Denied 1. Note on the drawings that all plumbing drain, waste and vent systems shall be tested for leaks in accordance with the 2018 IRC P2503.5 prior to concealing. 2. Indicate all hot water lines will be insulated to a minimum of R3 2018 IRC N1103.4.
