06/14/2022 | DAN SANTA CRUZ | ELECTRICAL-COMMERCIAL | REVIEW | Reqs Change | Please address the electrical plan review comments and provide a written response. 1. Provide complete compliance with the 2018 IECC for the lighting. 2. Ref: plan sheet E-100. Coded Notes #2, #4, #8, #9. These notes are placing the responsibility on the contractor to ensure added load to various existing branch circuits does not result in circuit overload. The branch circuit loads are already calculated in the panel schedules. How did the branch circuit loads get accurately calculated if the potential exists to overload the circuits by adding loads as directed to existing branch circuits? It is the responsibility of the Design Professional not the contractor to ensure this does not occur by assigning branch circuit designations to OCPD’s through electrical design. Please address this.
