06/24/2022 | AWARNER1 | NPPO | REVIEW | Needs Review | CDRC TRANSMITTAL PROJECT: SFR ACTIVITY NO. T22CM03655 ADDRESS/PARCEL: 436 N Sahuaro Ave 7.7. Native Plant Preservation The NPPO is intended to encourage preservation in place of healthy native plants through sensitive site design that minimizes the disruption of areas within the site containing healthy plants while allowing for salvage and transplanting plants on the site that are likely to survive. A Native Plant Preservation Plan, Section 7.7.4, is required to be submitted and approved in accordance with Sections 7.7.3.D.3 & .4 of the Unified Development Code (UDC) and Admin. Manual Section 2-11.0.0 prior to Grading Plan approval. By far, the easiest way to meet this requirement is to set aside 30% of the lot for Natural Undisturbed Open Space (NUOS). Provide calculations and designate NUOS on the plans. If you have any questions about this transmittal, contact Anne Warner, RLA PDSD Landscape/NPPO Review at email anne.warner@tucsonaz.gov |
