This site is located in the SR zone (UDC 4.7.4). Animal Services is a permitted use in this zone (Table 4.8-1) subject to Use Specific Standard 4.9.4.D.5.

1. Zoning has reviewed the building plans for compliance with DP22-0117 and although it appears that the plans match the DP, Zoning cannot verify if all UDC requirements are met until DP22-0117 is approved by zoning. The DP must be approve by zoning before this building permit can be approved.

08/15/2022 JPEELDA1 FIRE REVIEW Reqs Change Provide documentation that the new building meets the requirements of IFC 2018, Chapter 5, 507.5.1 of 400'. Provide a diagram to TFD from the nearest hydrant to the furthest part of the addition as the hose lays and the distance. If the distance exceeds 400' a fire sprinkler system shall be installed.
Second floor appears to be open and possible use for a sleeping area for staff to watch the animals at night (on call room). Please clarify if this is the use. If this is the use it shall be changed from a B to an R Occupancy and meet those separation requirements.

Instructions:
1. Is this for a new or existing activity application? - Please select New Application.

2. Submission Type - Select Floodplain Use Permit.

3. Project Name - Enter a name for your project.

4. Type of Permit - Select Commercial or Residential (Residential is for work on single family residences and duplexes.)

5. Select Street Name from the list. You can type the first two letters or number to get closer to your choice in the list. Then select the rest of the address in the boxes provided.

6. Description of Work - Enter in Floodplain Use Permit for…and then put a description of the work being done or reference the building permit number associated with this floodplain use permit.

7. Complete the Applicant Info. (Note APA# is for applicants with an advance payment account. Leave blank is you do not have an APA account.

8. Complete the Contractor, Owner and Architect/Engineer sections as applicable.

9. Supporting Documentation Upload - Provide a complete cost estimate for the project unless it is for a new build/separate structure. You may also provide additional documents you think will be helpful.
