The west property line can be used as the front perimeter yard, but the storage in the back would have to be relocated to be outside of the full width between the principal structure and the front perimeter yard 2.COMMENT: If proposed structures are relocated on the next submittal. Provide setback dimensions from the structures to the property line. Ensure carport is at least 10’ from the south property line. Setback is measured from the post of the structure to the property line with an allowable 2’ roof overhang. 3.COMMENT: A neighbor waiver will be required for the eastern property line setback. Provide this verbiage signed by the neighbor to the east ON THE SITE PLAN PAGE on the next submittal. “My Name is ______________ and I am the owner of the property located at ____________. Provide additional documents as requested by review staff. STRUCTURAL REVIEW COMMENTS: Denied 1. Provide structural calculations for the carport framing members. It is unclear the design parameters that were used for the carport steel support. 2. It appears that the drawings are missing information for the carport. Clarify the rafters or other framing or plywood will be added on top of the steel for the support and attachment of the corrugated roofing. 3. Clarify if the steel structure will be welded or bolted together and provide details for the connections. 4. Indicate the designed live and dead loads for the carport roof structure on the plans and verify the structure has been designed to withstand the wind speed of 115 mph and seismic Category B in accordance with 2018 IRC Table R301.2 (1). BUILDING REVIEW COMMENTS: Denied 1. Note on the drawing that all work shall be in accordance with the 2018 IRC and the adopted codes of the City of Tucson. 2. Note on the drawing that the soil beneath the slab and around the footing shall be treated for termites prior to the placement of the concrete for the shed. 2018 IRC R318.
