Revise drawings with reference to 2018 International Residential Code with City of Tucson Amendments. 2. 2018 IRC Section 314.2, R314.3 and R314.4. Revise electrical drawing with smoke alarms in bedrooms and outside of bedroom areas and to be interconnected in such a manner that the actuation of one alarm will activate all of the alarms in the individual dwelling unit. 3. 2018 IRC Section 315.2 and R315.3. Revise drawings with location of carbon monoxide alarm outside of the bedroom (s) when the dwelling unit includes a fuel-fired appliance and/or has an attached garage. 4. 2018 IRC (Prescriptive) Table N1102.1.2 (R402.1.2). Revise rafter size for ceiling insulation of R-38 with 12 inches of space in depth required for fiberglass insulation between 2 x 12 rafters or provide unvented enclosed rafter framing with air-permeable insulation totaling R-38 (R806.5.2 climate zone 2). Revise electrical drawing with arc-fault circuit-interrupter protection for branch circuits 120-volt, single-phase, 15- and 20-ampere outlets installed in kitchens, family rooms, dining rooms, living rooms, parlors, libraries, dens, bedrooms, sunrooms, recreations rooms, closets, hallways, laundry areas and similar rooms or areas. 3. 2018 IRC Section E4002.14.
