Provide additional documents as requested by review staff. STRUCTURAL REVIEW COMMENTS: Denied 1. Mechanical Drawing M2, Mechanical Roof Plan shows 15 New AC Units on existing roof. These RTU’s weigh 750 or 800 or 1200 pounds. Submit calculations justifying the adequacy of Roof Structural Members to support these RTU’s. 2. All Calculations shall be sealed and signed by Professional Engineer registered with State of Arizona per Section 107.1 of International Building Code 2018. Submit a response letter addressing these correction items and provide bubbles on the revisions to the drawings. BUILDING REVIEW COMMENTS: Denied 1. Sheet C1: The plans indicate that this a business use and this use is a appropriate for a doctor's office. However, it's noted that surgery will be occurring. Provide clarification the type of surgery that will be occurring. It appears that it will meet the requirements of an ambulatory care center. If this is true, please comply with the applicable requirements of Section 422. 2. Sheet C1: The occupant load provided is incomplete. Multiple functions are present. Section 1004.3 states each function must be calculated independently for a total occupant load. The waiting areas have not been included in the occupant load. Include these areas into the occupant load and update applicable requirements as necessary. 3. Sheet A0: The egress plan does not provide exit access travel distances. Provide the exit access travel distances. 4. Sheet A0: Provide all exit signage locations on the egress plan along with tactile exit signage in accordance with Section 1013. 5. Sheet A0: The doors of the H/C restroom in the south hall encroach into the means of egress more than the permitted allowances. Provide a corrected door swing in accordance with Section 1005.7.1 6.
