Provide additional documents as requested by review staff. STRUCTURAL REVIEW COMMENTS: Denied 1. Provide the structural design information on the plans including the proposed live and dead loads and any required wall bracing. 2. Provide a foundation plan of the new extension including dimensions. Indicate the locations of the new concrete piers as well as information on the existing foundation that will be used for support. 3. Provide a roof framing plan including dimensions for the new extension. Indicate the on center spacing for the new 2x6 rafters and the grade of lumber to be used on the project (for example Douglas fir or Southern Pine, grade #2 or better). 4. Clarify if the existing ridge is the same size (triple 2x12) or if it different. It appears to be larger in the drawings. 5. Provide a detail on how the new 2x6 rafters will be tied to the new triple 2x12 beams. Note any hangers or collar ties to be installed. BUILDING REVIEW COMMENTS: Denied 1. Note on the drawings that all work will be done in accordance with the adopted codes for the City of Tucson. 2. Clarify if this is an extension of an existing open carport or an extension of an enclosed shop area. The notes reference both. MECHANICAL REVIEW COMMENTS: Conditionally Approved No mechanical work was included in this submittal. ELECTRICAL REVIEW COMMENTS Denied 1. Clarify if there will be any electrical installed as part of this permit, none is indicated on the plans. If electrical is desired, provide an electrical plan.
