04/05/2022 KEN VAN KARSEN BUILDING-RESIDENTIAL REVIEW Reqs Change 1. The City of Tucson adopted the 2018 IRC with amendments on 1/1/2019. Show the current code reference on the plans.

2. Consolidate pages of construction plans into a single .PDF file as prescribed at the PDSD web site.

3. Provide an accurate site plan showing the location of alterations.

4. Show the door from a garage to dwelling with a 20-minute fire rating (or 1-3/8" solid core) with self-closing and self-latching provision, R302.5.1.

5. Show any roof framing alterations and beam sizes. A pipe column supporting roof loads requires a reinforced foundation.

6. Show the minimum 12" footing depth below the undisturbed ground surface with 12" minimum width for wood framed walls with minimum of one #4 rebar in the proposed continuous footing, R403.1.

7. Show the minimum hardboard sheathing thickness of 7/16", Table R703.4e.

8. Garage Receptacle: a 20 AMP receptacle outlet is required at each vehicle bay not more than 5.5 feet above the floor, E3901.9.
