Make up air shall be approximately the same as exhaust air for the kitchen. Your exhausting 9350 cfm and bringing in through the MAU 7324 cfm your lacking 2026 cfm’s (IMC2018,508.1) (If your bringing in the remaining cfm through the RTU’s, then in the RTU’s schedule you need to note that and that it will be interlocked to the kitchen and dishwasher hoods just like the makeup air unit is) RESPONSE: The additional makeup air required is being provided by the rooftop air conditioning units. A note to interlock the rooftop air conditioning units with the kitchen hoods exhaust fans has been added to the rooftop air conditioning unit schedule. See packaged air conditioning unit with gas heat schedule keynote 12, sheet M103. Not Complied you did not provide sheet M-103 with your revised plans 2. All equipment shall be on mechanical schedule and that includes coolers (IMC2018,106.3.1) RESPONSE: The walk-in cooler is a food service item specified and detailed in the food service plans. A note has been added in the mechanical plans that refers to the food service plans for information regarding the walk-in cooler. See sheet M200, keynote 34. See food service plans for walk-in cooler specifications and details. Complied ELECTRICAL REVIEW COMMENTS Conditionally Approved E500 ELECTRICAL ONE-LINE DIAGRAM: Fault currents misidentified. F2 is probably shown as F3, F4 isn’t calculated. Provided Calculations prove panels do have sufficient KAIC rating, this is an FYI to correct. PLUMBING REVIEW COMMENTS: Denied Second Plumbing Review: The current review #2 plans submitted don't correlate with the previous review comments , don't correlate with the previous submitted plans , & don't correlate with the current response comments ( appear to be shell plans?) No change in comments 1). Add Fixture center to side wall measurements to plan pages A300 & A301. -IPC 405.3.1 2). Ice Machine, roof equipment condensate, & water softener discharge can't discharge to the grease system. update plan pages P200, P300, P301. -IPC 1003.2 3). Add existing grease interceptor type, size, & calculations to plan page P101 to show it meet the demand of the new restaurant. -Tucson Amendment 1003.3 4). How will the exterior hub drain on plan pages P200 & P301 be protected from receiving storm water? -IPC 1101.3 5). Each gas water heater on plan page P300 needs its own gas shut off valve & sediment trap. -IFGC 408.4 , 409.5 6). Add the gas sizing table used to plan page P301. -IFGC 402.4 7).
