For a private sewer, the IPC is the controlling document. Section 707.1, IPC 2018, prohibits the use of saddle-type fittings: revise keynote 8 on sheet 3 of 9 to indicate that directional fitting will be required. [Initial comment: The use of saddle-type fittings to connect to a private sewer is prohibited, use directional wye fittings to connect the building sewers to the sewer main.
