07/08/2021 | SBEASLE1 | TUCSON WATER NEW AREA DEVELOPMENT | REVIEW | Completed | 130 - 150 pm - T21PRE0138 - 3495 W EL CaminoDelCerro - SiteGradingSwpppFloodplain Columbus Park 1. Tucson Water's New Area Development Unit generally has no objections to the proposed development, and offers the following comments for your convenience. 2. The provided site plan contained no legend that identifies every symbol shown on the plan, and no list of construction notes that explains the meanings of the numerous construction note symbols on the site plan. Therefore, some of the details of the proposed development are not clear to this reviewer. 3. The future concrete box culvert drainage structure will cross a 42" concrete cylinder water transmission main (PN 233-1987) and a 12" cement asbestos water distribution main (PN 115-1974) in Silverbell Road. Tucson Water's Distribution Design Section will need to review and approve the plans for installing this drainage structure. 4. The provided site plan shows symbols and lines that could be new water mains Silverbell Road and new water service lines and water meters located on the west side of the property. If that is what those symbols and lines represent, those features will need to be reviewed and approved by Tucson Water's Distribution Design Section, as well. 5. The provided site plan also shows that grading will need to be done over an existing 8" PVC water main on the site (PN 150-2007). Care will need to be taken during this grading to ensure that adequate cover is maintained over this existing water main. 6. The above comments are based on the limited preliminary information provided by the applicant and should not be construed as a complete review of the proposal. Any questions, comments or concerns about these comments may be directed to: Tim Rowe, P.E., Civil Engineer Tucson Water, New Development Section 310 W. Alameda St. P.O.
