Fire-flow requirements for buildings or portions of buildings and facilities shall be in accordance with Appendix B of the IFC. 3. EMERGENCY RESPONDER RADIO COVERAGE 510.1 Emergency responder radio coverage in new buildings. New buildings shall have approved radio coverage for emergency responders within the building based on the existing coverage levels of the public safety communication systems utilized by the jurisdiction, measured at the exterior of the building. This section shall not require improvement of the existing public safety communication systems. 4. D104.1 Building exceeding three stories or 30 feet in height. Buildings or facilities exceeding 30 feet or three stories in height shall have not fewer than two means of fire apparatus access for each structure. D104.3 Remoteness. Where two fire apparatus access roads are required, they shall be placed a distance apart equal to not less than one half of the length of the maximum overall diagonal dimension of the lot or area to be served, measured in a straight line between accesses. 5.
