Same comment made on Blackhawk PIA where this road es in - Sheet 8: From Sta 14+61 on, the plan shows a broken yellow centerline, which would indicated motorists can make passing movements on this 35 mph roadway that includes horizontal curves. Recommend that the YDS4 striping be used the length of the project to prohibit passing movements and encourage motorist traveling speeds to stay low Thank you, Greg |

The following comments need to be addressed and plans revised prior to resubmittal. Please include a response letter addressing the following comments. 1. Add the plan number “I-2021-013” in the title block of each sheet. 2. Add PIA activity number “T21PI00015” on coversheet. 3. Sheet 2: Revise General Paving Note 3 to indicate that Asphaltic concrete will comply with PAG Replacement Specification for Section 406 Asphaltic Concrete, Updated Sequence No. 2019-2. 4. Sheet 3: Provide erosion protection calculations for at-grade dip crossings. 5. Sheet 3 Thru 6: Revise cross sections for at-grade dip crossings to provide a minimum 4% cross section to reduce deposition of sediment. Reference Sec. 11.6 of the SMDD&FM 6. Sheet 3: Revise Pavement section detail to indicate subgrade preparation recommendations indicated in the geotechnical for Garden Stone Drive. 7. Sheet 3: Indicate that an 8’ wide graded shoulder will be provided along the roadway. 8. Refer to redline drawings for additional comments and comment details.
