1b) Ceiling R-value: R-38. Unresolved - This prescriptive value (R-38) must be installed at the ceiling level or provide a REScheck energy compliance report with HVAC trade-offs that may allow for a reduction of this ceiling R-value.
Answer to response letter: The RHVAC report does not regulate the R-value, it is a heat loss/heat gain report designed to figure out what size of equipment is needed to heat and/or cooling the building, efficiently.
