01/11/2022 ROBERT SHERRY MECHANICAL-COMMERCIAL REVIEW Reqs Change 1. Provide a complete mechanical design for the addition, including energy compliance, heating and cooling load, and ventilation calculations. A deferred submittal will not be allowed. Reference: Section 107.3.4.1, IBC 2018.
2. Revise the energy code analysis on A0.0 to reflect the actual proposed construction of the addition (or, as an alternative, submit a COMcheck envelope compliance certificate for an addition). Show that the interior lighting and HVAC system comply with the energy code requirements. Reference: Section C103.6.2, IECC 2018.
3. Provide structural calculations to verify that the roof framing is adequate to support the proposed mechanical units on the roof (e.g. point load as well as dead load). Provide structural details as required for any special framing revisions needed to support the units and frame the roof penetrations. Reference: Section 302.1, IMC 2018.

2. The water heater detail on sheet MP2.0 shows a recirculating hot water system. Show the size and route of the return piping for the recirculated hot water for water heater on the plans. Reference: Section 107.2.1, IBC 2018.
3. Clarify the type of water heater being relocated. Keynote 3 on MP1.0 implies that it is gas-fired but the detail on MP and the electrical plans call it an electric water heater. Reference: Section 107.2.1, IBC 2018.
4. Provide the architectural and structural anchoring details for the water heater stand that are referenced on the water heater detail on MP2.0. Reference: Section 308.4, IPC 2018.
5. Show the size, route, and termination of the T&P relief pipe from the water heater. Reference: Section 504, IPC 2018.
