The Structural Calculations Enercalc print outs references IBC2012 and ASCE7-10. Resubmit Calculations with currently adopted Codes of IBC2018 and ASCE7-16. 2. The Seismic parameters used in Structural Calculations submitted does not match with General Structural Notes sheet S1.0. Make revisions as needed. 3. Balcony guards are to be designed for the loads provided in IBC 2018 Section 1607.8.1. 4. Structural steel, components and fasteners which are exposed to weather are to be protected against corrosion in accordance with AISC 360 Section B.13 as indicated in IBC 2018 Section 2203.1. BUILDING REVIEW COMMENTS: Denied 1. Provide total occupant load calculations for each building type. 2. The travel distance must measured to a protected exit or exit discharge. The travel across the egress balcony and down the exterior exit stairway must be included in the travel distance measurement. 3. Some of the travel distances are shown travelling through walls. Please provide travel distances that travels unimpeded by building elements. 4. There are references to details on sheets that don't exist. Provide the missing sheets or missing details. 5. Provide a rated floor assembly that has a fire resistance rating of not less than 1 hour in compliance with Sections 420.3 and 711.2.4.3. MECHANICAL REVIEW COMMENTS: Denied 1. Provide ceiling radiation damper (this applies to all apartment units on the 1st floor(IMC2018,607.6.2) 2. Provide a shaft enclosure for dryer duct in an approved manner (This applies to all apartment units on the 1st floors) (IMC2018,607.6.2) 3. Where equipment and appliances are located 16' above grade an interior or exterior permanent means of access shall be provided in and approved manner (IMC2018,306.5) 4. there shall be no ON/OFF switch to override continuous fan operation in bathroom at 25 cfm(IMC2018,403.3.1.1) 5. Provide 50 CFM of exhaust to bathrooms on your schedule you got minimum 35 maximum 100 it needs to state 50 so that it can be balanced to that (IMC2018,403.3.1.1) 6. See marked up plans in narratives ELECTRICAL REVIEW COMMENTS Conditionally Approved Electrical sheet descriptions on Title Sheet TS.1 don't correlate with actual Electrical Sheet numbers or descriptions. PLUMBING REVIEW COMMENTS: Denied 1). Plan sets needs to include the missing site utility piping plans pages 1 thru 6 as shown on sheet index page TS1. -IPC A106.3.1 2). Plan submittal details state plans are for all 4 buildings, plumbing plans only show information & illustrations Bldgs. 1,2,3. update plan pages. -IPC A106.3.1 3). Plumbing pages sent don't match sheet index on page TS1, some pages missing, or not shown, or incorrectly labeled. - IPC A106.3.1 4). 42" vertical wall #29 primary drain on plan plan pg A3.0 & A3.1 would need a secondary drain. -IPC 1106.5 , 1108 5).
