Provide a complete plan set. Provide additional documents as requested by review staff. STRUCTURAL REVIEW COMMENTS: Denied The Structural Comments from Cycle 1 are not addressed. Address the following comments and resubmit. 1. The Structural Calculations Enercalc print outs references IBC2012 and ASCE7-10. Resubmit Calculations with currently adopted Codes of IBC2018 and ASCE7-16. 2. The Seismic parameters used in Structural Calculations submitted does not match with General Structural Notes sheet S1.0. Make revisions as needed. 3. Balcony guards are to be designed for the loads provided in IBC 2018 Section 1607.8.1. 4. Structural steel, components and fasteners which are exposed to weather are to be protected against corrosion in accordance with AISC 360 Section B.13 as indicated in IBC 2018 Section 2203.1. Submit a response letter addressing these correction items and provide bubbles on the revisions to the drawings BUILDING REVIEW COMMENTS: Denied 1. Sheet A7.0: Wall Section 8A indicates a detail 1/A13.0, however, that detail cannot be located. Please provides this detail along with a typical wall schedule that indicate the UL assembly numbers. MECHANICAL REVIEW COMMENTS: Denied 1. Provide ceiling radiation damper (this applies to all apartment units on 1st floor (IMC2018,607.6.2). Response: None required, see note on plan “all supply ductwork is routed below roof trusses and above dropped ceiling. Not Complied your note says that all supply ductwork is routed below roof trusses and above dropped ceiling I am not talking about the 2nd floor, I'm talking about the first floor and 2nd floor separation 2. Provide shaft enclosure for dryer duct in an approved manner (This applies to all apartment units on the 1st. floors) (IMC2018,607.6.2) Response: Dryer duct installed below rated ceiling. Not Complied you are not clear on your mechanical plan how you are routing the dryer duct on the first floor. what you state in your response don't show on the mechanical plan 3. Not Complied all rated ceiling penetrations on the first floor shall be protected in an approved manner. further you have a detail on M2.1 shat shows you are penetrating the rated floor/ceiling assembly with a 4" outdoor air duct without approved protection, cant do that. 7. 6" range hood exhaust duct on 1st floor penetrating rated floor/ceiling assembly shall be protected in an approved manner and fire dampers cant be used (IMC2018,607.6.1) ELECTRICAL REVIEW COMMENTS Conditionally Approved Electrical sheet descriptions on Title Sheet TS.1 don't correlate with actual Electrical Sheet numbers of descriptions.
