12/16/2021 ROBERT SHERRY MECHANICAL-COMMERCIAL REVIEW Reqs Change 1. Verify the balancing data for HP2 and HP-3 shown on the plans is coordinated with the mechanical unit schedule. Reference: Section 107.2.1, IBC 2018.
2. Coordinate the number of water closets in each restroom in the exhaust/make-up air requirements schedule with the number of water closets shown in each restroom in the mechanical plan. Reference: Section 107.2.1, IBC 2018.
3. The restroom exhaust fan symbol calls for 75 CFM of exhaust. Coordinate the exhaust fan flow rates shown on the mechanical plan with the exhaust/make-up air requirements schedule. Provide a minimum exhaust flow rate of 50 CFM per water closet or urinal if the exhaust is continuous, 70 CFM if the exhaust is intermittent. Reference: Section 107.2.1, IBC 2018, and Section 403.3.1.1 and Table 403.3.1.1, IMC 2018.
4. Provide information on the sequence of operation for the restroom exhaust fans to show that all of the air supplied to the restrooms will be exhausted (i.e. all of the air supplied to each restroom is to be exhausted during the hours of operation even if the lights are off). Reference: Section 403.2.1 (4), IMC 2018.
5. Clarify the calculations shown in the "outdoor ventilation air provided" schedule.

12/16/2021 ROBERT SHERRY PLUMBING-COMMERCIAL REVIEW Reqs Change 1. Show all of the pipe sizes on the waste and vent isometrics. Reference: Section 107.2.1, IBC 2018
2. The fixture drain serving an automatic clothes washer shall connect to a fixture branch that is at least 3 inches in diameter. Reference: Section 406.2, IPC 2018.
3. Provide the water pressure and pipe sizing calculations; verify that sufficient water pressure is available. The notes shown on P-2.0 state that the distance to the furthest fixture is 96-feet, the available pressure is 40-49 PSI, and a 2" water line is provided but the water meter appears to be over 450-feet away from the suite and the 2" water line is not shown. Reference: Sections 604.3 and 604.7, IPC 2018.
4. Verify that the lavatory faucet cycle will last for at least 10-seconds. Reference: Section 419.6, IPC 2018, as amended by the City of Tucson and Section 606.4, ICC/ANSI A117.1-09.
5. Provide tempered water for the public restroom lavatories using approved devices conforming to ASSE 1070. Reference: Sections 416.5 and 607.1.2, IPC 2018.
6. Show how the temperature of the tempered water supply to the public lavatories is controlled. Reference: Sections 416.5 and 607.1.2, IPC 2018 and Section C404.3, IECC 2018.
7. Verify that the distance from the hot water source to the hot water termination for the public lavatories complies with the requirements of Section C404.5, IECC 2018.
8. Provide cleanouts for all horizontal drains; the cleanouts shall be sized per Section 708.1.7, IPC 2018 and shall open to allow cleaning in the direction of flow. Reference: Sections 708.1.1 and 708.1.8, IPC 2018.
9. Determine the size of the wastewater pipes using the fixture units shown in Table 709.1. Reference: Section 710, IPC 2018.
