This site is located in the C-2 zone (UDC 4.7.21). Food Service is an allowed use in the zone (UDC Table 4.8-4), subject to Use Specific Standards 4.9.4.M.1 and 4.9.13.P. 1. Zoning has reviewed this building plan for compliance with DP21-0275 and although it appears that the plans match Zoning cannot approve the building plans until the DP has been approved and the following comments are addressed. 2. The development package sheets submitted in the building plan set either need to be the stamped approved drawings, marked as for reference only or removed from the building plans. Structural steel, components and fasteners which are exposed to weather are to be protected against corrosion in accordance with AISC 360 Section B.13 as indicated in IBC 2018 Section 2203.1. 2. Designer is to coordinate venting and drainage hole requirements for HSS tube members that are galvanized using the hot-dip galvanizing process. Provide for plugs as needed. AWS D-19.0 calls for welds on galvanized steel to be free of zinc. Field welds on galvanized parts requires the removal of the zinc coating in the area of weld. Provide zinc paint (approved by the galvanizer) and apply as required to the weld and steel area to provide protection. 3. Continuous wall foundation WF2.0 is marked on the Foundation Plan S101. Provide reinforcing details for WF2.0. 4. Column Foundation CF2.0 is marked along line 2 between A & C. Verify and make revisions as needed. 5. Wall Foundation WF5.5 is marked along A between 2 and 3 on Foundation Plan S101. Provide reinforcing details for WF5.5. 6. Locate Section 106/S401 shown on S401 on Foundation Plan S101. 7.
