This letter reflects comments to be addressed. In order to facilitate a shorter back check time, please provide updated plans and calculations with a written response to each of the notated items indicating action taken. Do not cloud the changes made for comment revisions. SCOPE OF REVIEW: The scope of this plan review covers architectural, plumbing, mechanical, energy conservation and electrical. All code references are to the 2018 International Residential Code and 2018 International Energy Conservation Code. All features were checked only to the extent allowed by the submittals provided. All portions of this project are assumed to meet or will meet other departmental requirements, conditions and concerns before permit approval. PROVIDE A COMPLETE PLAN SET showing all proposed alterations to the building with 2018 IRC code compliance with component sizes. Place the reference on the plans. Provide a single set of plans in a .PDF file. Sample drawings are shown as an example: https://www.tucsonaz.gov/pdsd/residential-permits FRAMING PLAN: Provide a roof framing plan showing beam, rafter and header locations and sizes. SECTIONS - DETAILS: Provide structural details showing code compliant materials and fasteners from the foundation to the of new exterior walls. Include the foundation dimensions, anchor bolt size and sheathing (1/2”) thickness. New exterior walls require compliant ½” anchor bolt attachment to a 12”x12” reinforced foundation with minimum 6" spacing above exterior grade or 2” above exterior concrete surfaces. ELECTRICAL PLANS: Show any new receptacles or lighting. Receptacles require GFCI protection. OUTDOOR LIGHTING CODE Provide any alterations with details showing compliant fixtures. Show compliance with City of Tucson Outdoor Lighting Code with an approved lighting calculation in accordance with OLC 3.1.2. Include all exterior fixtures on the property in the calculations or show proposed fixtures as Full Cut Off (night sky friendly).
