Non-load bearing walls require a deflection track or details to allow for the relative lateral deflection of the structural members. 3. Areas used for storage are to include 25% of the live load in determining the effective seismic weight. Verify the additional load is applied to the lateral resisting system as required in ASCE-7 Section 12.7.2. 4. Submit documentation regarding implementation of Special Inspections and Testing program during construction to observe compliance with the Design Concepts and Specifications. 5. Provide schedule of special inspections as required in IBC Section 1705. 6. The North shown on Arch and Structural drawings doesn’t match with Civil Drawings. Verify and make correction as needed. 7. Refer Drawing S500 Detail A5. The dimensions shown does not match dimensions shown on Floor Plan Drawing S100 or A050. Verify and make revisions as needed. 8. Structural general notes are to include any components of the building that may be considered deferred submittals. IBC Section 107.3.4.1 requires deferred submittals to be approved by the building official. Examples of items that likely should not be deferred include deep foundation elements, deep excavation shoring and prefabricated metal buildings. If items will be deferred the plans are to clearly note the following per IBC Section 107.3.4.1: * To be reviewed by design professional in responsible charge. * Design professional shall affix a notation that the deferred items are in general conformance with their design of the building. * They shall be submitted for review by the building official. * Shall not be installed until approved by building official. Plans need to include a roof drain piping riser diagram along with roof drain, conductor sizes & calculations & piping materials that derive from -IPC 1106.2, 1106.3 , 1102.6, 1102.7 2). Plan pages A105, A200, A201 need to include Gutter & Downspout sizes & calculations that derive from -IPC 1106.3 & 1106.6 3). Plan Page A021 main floor public occupant load requires separate mens & womens restrooms, only one restroom shown.. -IPC403.2 update all pages affected 4). Add plumbing fixture manufacturer names & model numbers to plan page P601 or include a specification manual with plan submittal. A106.31 5). Add fixture spacing measurements to detail #9 on A500 and or P401. -IPC 404.2, 405.3.1 6). Page 7 & 8 of the civil utility piping plans show different sewer sizes than shown on P100, the plan pages need to correlate & BLDG drain sewer connection can't reduce in direction of flow. _ IPC 704.2 7). Page 7 of the civil utility piping plan shows a 2" water service, but Plan pg. P400 shows a required 3" water main. Water service needs to be to be sized to match the requirements of the Building. IPC 604 8). plan page P401 Floor sinks in Mech room 010 need trap primers, due to equipment that these floor sinks service would only discharge in an emergency. -IPC 1002.4.1 9). Waste stack vents on P301 need to remain full size 3" thru the roof. -IPC 913.3 10). Waste stack risers on P301 have the levels mis-labeled within the box notes. Update Box notes -IPC A106.3.1 11). Add a sanitary/vent riser diagram to P301 or new page for the non-typical plumbing/drains originating from the main floor. -IPC A106.3.1 12).
