03/01/2022 ROBERT SHERRY PLUMBING-COMMERCIAL REVIEW Reqs Change Sheet H1.1 shows a 6" gravity drain from the splash pad, "…to waste" but, sheet H1.0 calls for a 4" drain connecting to the building sewer. Any fitting or connection in a drainage system that results in a reduction of the pipe area is prohibited. Reference: Section 706.2, IPC 2018. [Initial comment: Show how the drainage from the splash pad will be conveyed to the public sewer system. Reference: Section 107.2.1, IBC 2018.]

03/08/2022 DAN SANTA CRUZ ELECTRICAL-COMMERCIAL REVIEW Reqs Change Please address the electrical plan review comments and provide a written response.

The response to the electrical plan review comments states that "No electrical changes are required for the existing panel. Controller uses standard GFCI outlet to plug in". Please verify the following.

Ref; Plan sheet H1.1.

1. The Splash Pad Layout plan shows what appears to be a ¾ inch conduit with 3 wires installed from components in the equipment room and installed around to the opposite end of the Splash Pad to equipment ‘W009’ "Touch N’ Go Hard Wired". If this equipment requires the use of electricity, verify all the requirements (wiring methods) for a wet location where humans are present are met per 2017 NEC. Also verify that the Equipotential Grounding grid from the existing pool (NEC 680.26) is or will be intact around the Splash Pad to reduce voltage gradients in and around the Splash Pad area in order to prevent potential electrical shock hazards to humans in the wet areas, that may be present from unknown electrical sources underground.

2. Show the location and source of the 120-volt 16-amp branch circuit power supply. Verify GFI protected outlet as stated in the Response letter from SWAIM ASSOCIATES.

3. Where is the "Electrical Schematics Sheet for Wiring Connections" located? As stated per the note at the top center of the plan.
