As you are proposing a patio addition to a Commercial Site a Development Package (DP) is required. This DP shall at a minimum meet the requirements of the Checklist for Minor Changes to Commercial/Industrial Sites found at: https://www.tucsonaz.gov/files/pdsd/forms/Minor_Changes_to_Commercial_Industrial_Sites_.pdf. The DP is a separate submittal from the building plan and is submitted at: https://docs.tucsonaz.gov/Forms/tucsonpermitapp, using the “Submission Type”, “Site Review”. Zoning cannot approve the building plan until the DP has been approved. Until the DP is submitted and approved Zoning cannot approve this permit.
