A Multi-family is a permitted use in this zone (Table 4.8-2) subject to Use Specific Standards 4.9.7.B.6. 1. As a new structure is proposed on this Non Residential site a Development Package (DP) meeting the requirements of the Checklist for Minor Changes to Commercial/Industrial Sites must be submitted and approved prior to this permit. The checklist can be found at: https://www.tucsonaz.gov/files/pdsd/forms/Minor_Changes_to_Commercial_Industrial_Sites_.pdf. The DP is a separate submittal from the building permit and is submitted at: https://docs.tucsonaz.gov/Forms/tucsonpermitapp, using the “Submission Type”, “Site Review”. 2. Per UDC Article 6.6.3.C Accessory structures shall not exceed 12 feet in height, unless attached to a principal structure. Per UDC Article 6.4.4.A Measurement of Building Height. Building height is the vertical distance measured from the design grade elevation to the middle (between the eave and ridge ) of the highest gable of a pitched or hipped roof. Provide a height dimension from design grade to the midpoint of the pitched roof. If this exceeds 12’-0” a Board of Adjustment for Variance will be required.
