Provide tempered water for the lavatories and public hand-washing sinks in restrooms using approved devices conforming to ASSE 1070. Reference: Sections 419.5 and 607.1.2, IPC 2018. 3. Clarify the specifications for the water fountain. The drawing shows a single-level drinking fountain and the fixture schedule shows model numbers for both single-level and dual-level drinking fountains. Provide the number of drinking fountains that complies with the requirements of Sections 2902.1 and 2902.5, IBC 2018 and Section 410.3, IPC 2018. 4. Verify that the distance from the hot water source to the hot water termination for the public lavatories complies with the requirements of Section C404.5, IECC 2018. 5. Keynote #10 on sheet P-1 shows water being supplied for a coffee counter. At a minimum, coffee machines connected directly to water service require the use of a backflow preventer listed to either ASSE 1022, ASSE 1024, or an air gap.
