COMMENTS: the following comments are relative to an application for a Design Development Option (DDO) (UDC 3.11.1).

This site is located in the R-3 zone (UDC 4.7.12). Multifamily is a permitted use in this zone (Table 4.8-2) subject to Use Specific Standard 4.9.7.B.6.

1. The maximum height of a wall or fence within a perimeter yard shall be six (6) feet (UDC Section 6.6.2.I). The proposed fence is 8’-0” high and requires a Design Development Option (DDO) to be constructed on the property lined. DDO application and requirements can be found at: https://www.tucsonaz.gov/files/pdsd/forms/DDO_for_Setback_and_Height_UDC_8.11.20.pdf, and shall be a separate submittal at: https://www.tucsonaz.gov/pdsd-filedrop, using the Special Applications, Zoning Administration selection.

The DDO will need to be submitted and approved prior to approval of the fence permit.
