It is required for replacement poles to have street light at same height and position over the roadway as the light pole it replaces. 2. Add this text to scope of work. REMOVE EXISTING LIGHT POLE -RETURN TO THE CITY OF TUCSON TRAFFIC MAINTENANCE ELECTRIC SHOP AT 4004 S PARK AVE, WITH A 24 HR ADVANCE NOTICE OF ARRIVAL. IF IT IS DETERMINED BY THE TM ELECTRIC SHOP INSPECTOR POLES ARE TO BE SCRAPPED, THEY WILL THEN BE TRANSPORTED BY THE CONTRACTOR TO THE HVF WEST FACILITY LOCATED AT 6581 E DREXEL RD, TUCSON, AZ AND CREDITED TO THE CITY OF TUCSON DEPT. OF TRANSPORTATION. -OBSOLETE STREETLIGHT POLE FOUNDATIONS SHALL BE REMOVED COMPLETELY, ANY CHANGES SHALL BE AND APPROVED BY THE TRAFFIC MAINTENANCE ELECTRIC SHOP INSPECTOR IN THE FIELD 3. DOTM Standard notes a) Contractor shall notify adjacent residences/businesses of proposed construction activities at the preconstruction meeting. b) A preconstruction meeting shall be held with the COT, Department of Transportation and Mobility construction and electrical Inspectors. c) Contractor shall maintain site safety and pedestrian access through or around the work site pursuant to MUTCD requirements. For work located on major or collector roadways (>25MPH), pedestrian circulation shall be provided through or around the work site and NOT detoured to the other side of the street. d) Barricade plan is subject to change as determined by the COT, Department of Transportation and Mobility construction inspector. Plan revisions must be documented. e) Contractor shall repair all disturbed landscaping. This includes irrigation, plantings, groundcover, and hardscape. Irrigation lines under driveways must be in sleeves. f) All concrete (sidewalk, curbing, driveways or curb access ramps) damaged or removed shall be replaced as a whole to the nearest joint. g) Contractor shall practice stormwater good housekeeping measures during construction. |
