02/04/2020 | JSANDER1 | DOT_ELEC | REVIEW | Reqs Change | 1. Add the pedestrian push button to the plan. 2. Add the following to the notes on sheet T-2: After the new pole has been installed and fully functional, remove the old pole and cut down 3 feet. The old pole will have to stay in operation to keep the pedestrian crossings active. Once the new pole has been installed and the pedestrian push button and ped crossing head has been installed the wiring from the old pole needs to be run to the new pole. If the existing IMSA cable is not long enough a new IMSA cable, either 16 conductor or minimum 7 conductor cable, will have to be run from the traffic signal control cabinet, un-spliced to the new location, a distance of roughly 150 FT. A contractor may install the ped head and push button, COT will make any connection in the cabinet. |
