05/14/2020 EHAMBLI1 TUCSON WATER NEW AREA DEVELOPMENT REVIEW Completed T20PRE0059 - 9290 E GOLF LINKS RD - SITE Legacy Traditional School

· There is an existing 8” water main constructed under Plan No. 050-2011 just outside the east side of the property in a 15 ft. wide existing water line easement.

· The site plan drawing does not show this existing water line, or existing water line easement. But it does show the construction of some identified and some unidentified features in this easement. Please be aware that vehicular access to all portions of this easement must be maintained.

· There are also two 8” water line stubs extending from Plan No. 050-2011 onto this property in existing easements that have not been shown on the site plan: One at the north end, and one at the south end. What do you plan to do with those stubs? If they are to be abandoned, there are formal abandonment process that will need to be followed.

· No fire flow requirements have been shown on the site plan. After a water fixture unit count has been conducted for the project using the 2018 International Plumbing Code, and the fire flow requirements have been established by the local fire authority, please contact Ray Munoz at 837-2207 in the Tucson Water New Services Section to discuss:

o Potential points of connection to Tucson Water’s existing water distribution system. Please note that hydraulic modeling may need to be performed to verify which potential points of connection have the capacity necessary to serve the proposed development.

o The number of water service lines, water meters, and meter sizes, necessary to serve this development.

o The advantages and disadvantages of installing the necessary water meters via Tucson Water’s Job Order Contract (JOC) process.
