SUBJECT: Offsite Improvements Plan for The Bridges B-1

PROJECT REVIEWER: Richard Leigh, TDOT, TDOT Eng. Review

RESUBMITTAL REQUIRED: TDOT Permit Review Section has reviewed the subject PIA paving plan and does not recommend approval at this time. The following comments need to be addressed and plans revised prior to resubmittal. Please include a response letter addressing the following comments and return redlined drawings with subsequent submittal.

1. Add the plan number "I-2020-010" in the title block of each sheet.

2. Add PIA activity number "T20PI00008" on cover sheet.

3. Sheet 4: Indicate that the minimum pavement width at the beginning of the pavement taper shall be 2'.

4. Sheet 4: Indicate that the streetlight conduits and pull boxes will relocated behind the new curb line.

5. Sheet 4: Provide grading details and proposed final surface treatment adjacent to the multi-use path. The area must be graded to prevent soils from washing onto the path.

6. Sheet 4: The area where the proposed right turn lane, streetlights and other roadway facilities encroach onto private property will have to be dedicated to the City as public right-of-way.

7. Sheet 4: Provide vertical curve data for the right turn lane profile.

8. Sheet 4: Provide horizontal curve data for the proposed curb returns.

9. Sheet 4: Has a photometric analysis been performed to determine the lighting impacts of relocating the streetlights east of the multi-use path?

10. Sheet 6: Verify ROW location depicted on sections "E" and "F".

11. Sheet 6: Revise sections "E" and "F" to depict new pavement section and call out that the existing pavement will be saw cut, tacked and joined.
