Verify that the distance from the hot water source to the hot water termination for the public lavatories complies with the requirements of Section C404.5, IECC 2018. 4. At a minimum, coffee machines and non-carbonated beverage dispensers require the use of a backflow preventer listed to either ASSE 1022, ASSE 1024, or an air gap. Reference: Section 608.17.1.2, IPC 2018. 5. Provide for sterilization and testing of the domestic water system per Section 610.1, IPC 2018. 6. Indirect waste receptors (e.g. detail 6/P2.1) shall not be installed in plenums, crawl spaces, attics, interstitial spaces above ceilings and below floors. Indirect waste receptors shall have ready access. Reference: Section 802.4, IPC 2018. |
