Verify that the faucet cycle will last for at least 10-seconds. Reference: Section 419.6, IPC 2018, as amended by the City of Tucson and Section 606.4, ICC/ANSI A117.1-09.
2. Provide tempered water for the public restroom lavatory using approved devices conforming to ASSE 1070. Reference: Sections 416.5 and 607.1.2, IPC 2018.
3. Verify that the distance from the hot water source to the hot water termination for the public lavatories complies with the requirements of Section C404.5, IECC 2018.
4. At a minimum, coffee machines and non-carbonated beverage dispensers require the use of a backflow preventer listed to either ASSE 1022, ASSE 1024, or an air gap. Reference: Section 608.17.1.2, IPC 2018.
5. Provide for sterilization and testing of the domestic water system per Section 610.1, IPC 2018.
6. Indirect waste receptors (e.g. detail 6/P2.1) shall not be installed in plenums, crawl spaces, attics, interstitial spaces above ceilings and below floors. Indirect waste receptors shall have ready access. Reference: Section 802.4, IPC 2018.
