Plan review for the above referenced structure has been completed. This letter reflects comments to be addressed. In order to facilitate a shorter back check time, please provide updated plans and calculations with a written response to each of the notated items indicating action taken. Do not cloud the changes made for comment revisions.

SCOPE OF REVIEW:

The scope of this plan review covers architectural, plumbing, mechanical, energy conservation and electrical. All code references are to the 2018 International Residential Code and 2018 International Energy Conservation Code. All features were checked only to the extent allowed by the submittals provided. All portions of this project are assumed to meet or will meet other departmental requirements, conditions and concerns before permit approval.

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS:

Consolidate pages of construction plans into a single .PDF file as prescribed at the PDSD web site. https://www.tucsonaz.gov/pdsd/online-permits

ELECTRICAL PLANS:

1. A building/dwelling shall be supplied by a single service, NEC 230.2 & E3601.2.
2. Provide an electrical riser diagram showing each distribution panel and feeder conductor size, E3403.
3. Provide a panel schedule showing panel size, circuit numbers, ampacity, wire size and general description, E3404.13 & E3706.2. Show exterior cables with appropriate ratings for exposure.
4. Provide a minimum feeder conductor of 60 AMP for accessory structures and conductors with minimum rating of #4 copper 60 degree C, E3602.1 & E3705.1.
5. Revise the electrical load calculations following Table E3602.2 for sizing the general usage loads. Show 3 watts per square foot of floor area. Show 1500 watts for each 20A appliance and laundry circuit. Show nameplate entries for each appliance.
6. Verify water heater circuit size, E3702.11. Appliances may require 240 volt circuits.
7. Notate the locations of each smoke alarm, R314
