Revise the cold water supply to the water heater as shown in the water supply isometric, 3/P1.0, to coordinate with the cold water supply shown in detail 5/P1.0, specifically the locations of the expansion tank and the vacuum relief valve. Reference: Section 303.2, IPC 2018. 3. Provide metering faucets for the lavatories, dispensing a maximum of 0.25 gallons per metering cycle. Verify that the faucet cycle will last for at least 10-seconds. Reference: Section 419.6, IPC 2018, as amended by the City of Tucson and Section 606.4, ICC/ANSI A117.1-09. 4. Tempered water is required for the lavatories in restrooms and by definition, the maximum temperature for tempered water is 110 degrees Fahrenheit. Setting the mixing valve at 110 degrees Fahrenheit will result in delivering water that exceeds the maximum temperature for tempered water. Reference: Sections 202, 419.5 and 607.1.2, IPC 2018. 5. Provide an additional cleanout for the 4" horizontal drain due to the 90-degree change of direction in the restroom. Reference: Section 708.1.4, IPC 2018. 6. Verify that the distance from the hot water source to the hot water termination for the public lavatories complies with the requirements of Section C404.5, IECC 2018. |
