For any single family dwelling in the R-1 zone with five bedrroms, three parking spaces are required in a side or rear perimeter yard. A dustproof parking surface is required to at least a minimum of two inches of compacted pea gravel (4.9.7.b.7 UDC). a. Please resubmit the residential plans showing the parking spaces within the side or rear yard. The spaces do not need to be paved, but they are required to be shown on the plans because the residence has reached the 5 bedroom threshold.
