2. Provide a design for the proposed kitchen exhaust system that clearly shows that the installation will comply with the requirements of Sections 302, 304, 506, 507, and 508, IMC 2018. Reference: Section 107.2.1, IBC 2018.
3. Show how the proposed termination of the Type I exhaust duct and exhaust fan complies with requirements of Sections 506.3.13.3 and 506.5.6, IMC 2018.
4. Provide structural calculations and details to show that the Type I hood is supported from the building structure in accordance with Section 507.2.4, IMC 2018 (the hood hanging weight plus the weight of personnel working in or on the hood). Reference: Section 302.1, IMC 2018.
5. Provide adequate make up air for the kitchen exhaust hood. Reference: Section 508.1 IMC 2018.
11/18/2020 ROBERT SHERRY PLUMBING-COMMERCIAL REVIEW Reqs Change 1. Verify the available gas service pressure; Southwest Gas generally will provide service only at 7" WC, 2 PSIG, or 5PSIG.
2. The proposed appliances will the installation of pressure regulators. Specify the type of regulator, the pressure range settings, and the location of the regulators. If the specified gas pressure regulators are being installed indoors, verify if they are equipped with and labeled for use with a vent-limiting device or show how the regulators are to be safely vented. Reference: Section 410.3, IFGC 2018.
3. Provide an automatic fuel shut off valve for the Type I hood, interlocked with the hood fire extinguishing system. Reference: Section 904.3.3, IBC 2018.
4. Clarify the scope of work shown in the plumbing plan. Reference: Section 107.2.1, IBC 2018.
