2. The architectural sheets have been stamped with a State of Texas professional seal. Please re-stamp these sheets with a valid State of Arizona architecture seal in compliance with requirements of the State of Arizona Board of Technical Registration and Arizona Revised Statutes 32-144.
3. The structural calculations have been secured by the Engineer. Please resubmit calculations unsecured so that our electronic approval seal can be placed on the document.
4. The floor plan on sheet A110 indicates that new stud partitions will be installed for the restroom, office, display area and as a screen between the back-of-house tinting and wholesale area and the public sales area. Wall Type A shown on sheet A111 and interior elevations on sheet A300 show that these walls will be 10'-6" tall and not extend to the roof framing system above. Please show how these freestanding walls, particularly the 30-foot long wall at the Tint Area, will be laterally braced to prevent movement and possible overturning. Also address the office long walls as detail B4/A111 shows equipment cantilevering from the laterally unsupported portion of wall assembly. Ref. 2018 IBC 2211.2 and referenced standard, North American Standard for Cold-formed Steel Framing - Nonstructural Members, AISI S220.
5. Please revise or delete the Stud Size Chart A1/A111 as it refers specifically to interior non-bearing partitions that extend to roof framing. There are none in this design. All partitions shown are partial height. See building review comment 4 above.
6. Please add the required hardware group in the Door Schedule, sheet A110, for new door 102. Ref. 2018 IBC 107.2.1.
7. Please confirm that the new exterior glass doors and storefront comply with the maximum U-factors and solar heat gain coefficient(s) shown in 2018 IECC Table C402.4 for climate zone 2. Also confirm that the new overhead delivery door is minimum R-4.75 per Table C402.1.3. Add these prescriptive or actual requirements to the Door Types schedule or Door Schedule on sheet A110. Ref. 2018 IBC 107.2.1.
8. Please indicate that glass for new doors will be safety glass in the Door Types schedule on sheet A110. Ref. 2018 IBC 2406.4.
