Occupant loads for exiting purposes are determined using the occupant load factors in 2018 Table 1004.2 based on functions of each space multiplied by the floor area of each space. The occupant load for exiting is not determined by using the Occupancy and Use for the entire tenant area as determined by Chapter 3. Therefore, for the waiting room 188 SF/15 SF per occupant = 13 occupants, and for the business area 564 SF/150 SF per occupant = 4 occupants, for a total occupant load of 17. Please revise the Project Code Check on sheet TS.1. 3.
