The roof may extend 2 ft into the setback area, provided the setback area is not reduced to less than 3 ft. OR obtain adjacent owner’s (BATES BRIAN H & LYNN E CP/RS) setback waiver for detached accessory structures. The adjacent owner’s waiver statement must be added to the site plan. 10/14/2020 PIMA COUNTY BUILDING-COMMERCIAL REVIEW Reqs Change PLUMBING
1. The new sink air admittance valve detail must show that the valve is located 4" above the horizontal fixture drain pipe per 2018 IRC P3114.4.
2. The Air Admittance Valve detail 1/1 indicates that the sink in this food preparation/setup and cooking area where grease will be generated will drain to the exterior. According to ADEQ "Using Gray Water at Home" and City of Tucson amendment to the 20189 IRC new Section P2601.2.1 (2)(b), gray water fixtures are restricted to bathing fixtures (bathroom lavatories and showers) and clothes washing machines. Kitchen sinks, dishwashers and toilets are considered black water and are not allowed to discharge to landscaping.
3. On the Plumbing Plan show a shutoff valve for the fire pit. Ref. 2018 IRC G2420.5.
4. On the Site Plan indicate that gas piping shall be buried minimum 12" below ground surface with a yellow-insulated 18 AWG copper tracer wire for non-metallic piping. Ref. 2018 IRC G2415.12 and G2415.17.3.

ELECTRICAL
1. The Outdoor Lighting Code Compliance calculations indicate that new fixtures "A" are shielded fixtures. However, the electrical plan Legend indicates that these are security lights. Submit manufacturer's product data showing that these fixtures are full cutoff and do not allow any candela to occur at or above and angle of 90-degrees from the nadir per definition of full cutoff in the 201 City of Tucson/Pima County Outdoor Lighting Code Section 202. Per that definition all shields preventing light from occurring above an angle of 90-degrees from horizontal shall be permanently affixed to the fixture.
2. All light fixtures under the proposed canopy are not included in the outdoor lumen calculations. This is fine per OLC 401.2.1(3); however please add a boxed note in the space to the right of the electrical plan stating that all light fixtures under the ramada are to be full cutoff type.
3. Track lights are shown under the canopy and are not included in the lighting calculations. By nature, track lights are not full cutoff. Since the calculations indicate that no additional unshielded light fixtures can be accommodated on this property, either eliminate this fixture or replace it with full-cutoff type.
4. Please confirm that all proposed light fixtures have a maximum color temperature rating of 3,500K per 2012 Outdoor Lighting Code 402.1. LED lights generally have CTR above 3500K. Add note to electrical information.
5. Two circuits (23 and 25) are shown for the receptacles and lights in the new ramada. Per 2018 IRC E3607.3 a grounding electrode is required for this structure (via a sub-panel). The exception to this Section allows no grounding electrode if a single circuit is supplied to the ramada or a multi-wire branch circuit is provided.
5. Add a note on the Site Plan that conduit shall be buried minimum 18" below ground surface for non-metallic piping. Ref. 2018 IRC Table E3803.1.
