| 09/29/2020 | PIMA COUNTY | BUILDING-COMMERCIAL | REVIEW | Reqs Change | 1. Please respond to each review comment in writing. 2. The demolition plan on sheet D-1.0 shows a new 1-hour wall in what was a hallway leading to an exit. This seems to indicate that this 1,952 SF floor area was part of the adjacent tenant space and is being made into a separate lease area. As part of the Code review provide an analysis of the adjacent tenant space showing that its exiting, exit access travel distance, dead ends, corridor fire rating (since the building is not fire-sprinkled per the Code Review), and plumbing fixture amounts comply with the 2018 IBC when a means of egress and two toilet rooms are eliminated. Ref. 2018 IBC 107.2.1, Table 1017.2, Table 1020.1, 1020.4. 3. Suite 101 is shown in the project address on sheet A0.0. Please confirm that this address is for this space only and not for this space and adjacent floor area necessitating Pima County Addressing to create an additional suite number for 3170 N Swan Rd. Contact Pima County Addressing if so. 4. Either provide an analysis of the entire building showing that it is non-separated use, or show that the (new) demising wall between this tenant area and the adjacent tenant area is 1-hour fire-rated for its entire length. Ref. 2018 IBC Table 506.2, 508.3, 508.4, Table 508.4. 5. At detail A/A-3.0, New Front Entry Door Elevation, please add the energy performance requirements applicable to this glazed unit (door 100) shown in 2018 IECC Table C402.4 for Climate Zone 2. 6. Submit a completed City of Tucson Special Inspections Certificate. |
