This letter reflects comments to be addressed. In order to facilitate a shorter back check time, please provide updated plans and calculations with a written response to each of the notated items indicating action taken. Do not cloud the changes made for comment revisions. SCOPE OF REVIEW: The scope of this plan review covers architectural, plumbing, mechanical, energy conservation and electrical. All code references are to the 2018 International Residential Code and 2018 International Energy Conservation Code. All features were checked only to the extent allowed by the submittals provided. All portions of this project are assumed to meet or will meet other departmental requirements, conditions and concerns before permit approval. PROVIDE A COMPLETE PLAN SET showing all proposed alterations and additions. Place each plan sheet into a single PDF file. Number each sheet within the plan set. Use the Residential Plan Requirements & Checklist at https://www.tucsonaz.gov/pdsd/residential-permits Sample plans: https://www.tucsonaz.gov/files/pdsd/pdfs/Porch_Sample.pdf ROOF FRAMING PLAN: Provide a framing plan showing layout and size of posts, beams, rafters or manufactured truss plans. Manufactured trusses require an engineer’s stamp from the supplier. SECTIONS - DETAILS: Provide structural detail showing code compliant materials and fasteners from the foundation to the roof covering. Include the foundation dimensions and size of reinforcement. Show fastening method of proposed structure to the existing dwelling. Roof shingles may be used on roof slopes of 2:12 or greater R905.2.2. Select a roof system that complies with R905 for the 1:12 slope. ELECTRICAL PLANS: Provide wiring details showing code compliant devices and sizes. Show circuit number and size with receptacles at all walls and lighting control. OUTDOOR LIGHTING CODE: Show the proposed fixture as full cut-off FCO style or provide an Outdoor Lighting Calculation including all exterior fixtures on the property for determining exterior lighting limits.
