2. Revise detail 8/MP-2 to show the water heater installed correctly and, in a manner consistent with the manufacturer's instructions (i.e. the cold water inlet is at the top of the unit). (Note that the specified water heater was discontinued in 2015. Reference: Section 303.2, IPC 2018.
3. Provide the number of drinking fountains that complies with the requirements of Sections 1109.5, 2902.1 and 2902.5, IBC 2018 and Section 410.3, IPC 2018.
4. Provide metering faucets for the lavatories, dispensing a maximum of 0.25 gallons per metering cycle. Verify that the faucet cycle will last for at least 10-seconds. Reference: Section 419.6, IPC 2018, as amended by the City of Tucson and Section 606.4, ICC/ANSI A117.1-09.

6. Verify that the distance from the hot water source (i.e. the recirculating hot water loop) to the hot water termination for the public lavatories complies with the requirements of Section C404.5, IECC 2018.
7. Verify the rim elevation of the next upstream sanitary manhole and the first floor elevation. Determine the need for a backwater valve per Section 714.1, IPC 2018, as amended by the City of Tucson.

07/13/2020 ROBERT SHERRY MECHANICAL-COMMERCIAL REVIEW Reqs Change 1. The ventilation calculations ("Fresh Air Schedule") are based on the UBC and ASHRAE 62-1989. Provide calculations based on the current code to verify that adequate ventilation will be provided for the occupied spaces. Reference: Section 403.3.1.1, IMC 2018.
2. Update the natural ventilation calculations for the storage room using the current code. Reference: Sections 402.1and 402.2, IMC 2018.
3. Revise the sequence of operation for the restroom exhaust fan, EF-1, so that all of the air supplied to the restrooms will be exhausted (i.e. all of the air supplied to each restroom is to be exhausted during the hours of operation even if the lights are off). The exhausted air from the restrooms shall be limited to no more than 10% of any subsequent supply air stream. Reference: Section 403.2.1 (4), IMC 2018.
4. Provide heating and cooling load calculations to justify the heating/cooling capacities of the specified HVAC units. Reference: Section C403.1.1 and C502.2.3, IECC 2018.
5. Show that the proposed AC units meet the requirements of Sections C403.3, C403.4, and C403.5 (e.g. provide the mechanical compliance certification from COMcheck). Reference: Section C501.4, International Energy Conservation Code 2018.
6. Show that each rooftop unit has a thermostatic control that provides for off-hour and set-back control, automatic shutdown and automatic start-up control (i.e. the thermostat is capable of automatically adjusting the start time of the HVAC equipment in order to bring the interior conditions to the desired temperature at the start of occupancy) and, if the thermostat does not require manual changeover from the heating and cooling modes, it restricts set point overlap. Reference: Section C403.4.2 through C403.4.2.3, IECC 2018.
