05/12/2020 ERIC NEWCOMB BUILDING-COMMERCIAL REVIEW Reqs Change 1. Sheet g2.0; Second Floor Plan: It appears from the plan a single exit (rated stairwell) is being provided for this space. Per the IBC Table 1006.2.1, a sprinklered B occupancy with a maximum occupant load of 49 allows a maximum common path of egress travel distance of 100 feet. The distance indicated on the plan is greater than the allowable for a single exit. Please verify.
2. Sheet g2.0; Second Floor Plan: In the corridor south of Office 218, Office 219, and the stair, an interior wall is indicated at the west end. In order not to consider this a dead end corridor, occupants would be required to exit through the Reception 203 area. This would require exit lighting per the IBC Section 1013. Please verify and place information on the drawing.
3. Sheet a2.0; Second Floor Reflected Ceiling Plan: Please indicate exit lighting on this plan, or add a reference note indicating the location of that lighting.
4. General: Please provide written responses to all review comments.
