A residence deeper than 150' on a lot must provide a fire department approved access road, with a turnaround. The size of the existing building plus additions would require a commercial fire flow from the hydrant, if it was close enough. The only way to mitigate these code issues would be to install a residential fire sprinkler system. Please add a note to the cover sheet that a sprinkler system will be installed. |
