02/13/2020 MARTIN BROWN FIRE REVIEW Reqs Change This residence has a fire flow calculation area greater than 3600 square feet, therefore the required fire flow (amount of water available from the hydrant) must exceed 3600 GPM @ 20 psi. Contact Richard Herran or Fred Coy at Tucson Water (Richard.herran@tucsonaz.gov or fred.coy@tucsonaz.gov) and they will perform a computer modeling analysis of the closest hydrant to your residence. If the analysis indicates the fire flow can be achieved, attach the documentation to the plans and resubmit. If the modeling indicates those flow rates cannot be achieved, add a note to plans indicating a residential fire sprinkler system will be installed, and resubmit.
Note: Tucson Water will require a minimum ¾" meter for the sprinkler system.
