COMMENTS: Please resubmit revised drawings and any redlined plans along with a detailed response letter, which states how all Zoning Review Section comments were addressed.

1. COMMENT: Zoning has reviewed the building plans for compliance with the unapproved development package DP19-0280. While the building plans are consistent with the unapproved DP as it relates to the zoning review purview of the building footprint, building height, square footage, site conditions etc., zoning cannot approve the building plans until the DP has been approved and PDSD Commercial Plans reviewers have approved the building plans.

2. COMMENT: Zoning will review the building plans on the next submittal as it relates to the zoning review purview and compare the building plan footprint, building height, and square footage and location to ensure consistency with the DP.

3. COMMENT: Once the plans have been reviewed and approved by PDSD Commercial Plan Reviewers and zoning has verified consistency with the approved DP, the building plans can be approved by zoning.

The City of Tucson has adopted the 2018 edition of the International Codes including the Building Code and the 2017 National Electric Code. Please correct the Building Data text box and verify compliance with the adopted codes. IBC 107.2.1.
2. Indicate the building code occupancy classification and construction type for the new canopy. Specify the canopy area and maximum allowable area. IBC 107.2.1.

4. Provide an architectural site plan of the entire lot and show the location of the canopy and distance from the existing building(s) and property boundaries. IBC 107.2.1.

7. The structural calculations are referencing the 2012 International Building Code. The City of Tucson has adopted the 2018 International Building Code. Please recalculate and reference design to the 2018 IBC.

9. Provide general structural notes for the canopy structural plans; indicate design loads, referenced codes, specifications and required special inspections. IBC 1603.1.
10. On structural sheet AB1 of 2 the occupancy category for the canopy is listed as M occupancy which is not the correct occupancy category for vehicle related use. IBC 302.1.
11. Indicate the height of the canopy measured from finish surface to the bottom of the mist fans or the lowest projection from the roof. IBC 107.2.1.
12. The NOTE on sheet T-1.1 is referencing sheet A1.0 for ACCESSIBILITY NOTES, LIFE SAFETY NOTES and CODE SUMMARIES; which is missing from the construction documents. Provide this referenced sheet with all listed information. IBC 107.2.1.
13. Provide an occupant load for the indoor and outdoor seating; submit minimum plumbing fixture calculations for the total occupant load. IBC TABLE 2902.1.
14. Identify not less than (1) accessible dining surface in the new outdoor dining area. IBC 1109.11
