The shop area is a special operation that is not described in Table 403.3.1.1, IMC 2018: an engineering analysis of the ventilation requirement will be needed. Reference: Section 403.1.1, IMC 2018.
2. The submitted data for the Duroair Silica Dust collector shows that it is employed with a modular and retractable enclosure, a Duroroom. The drawings do not show the size of the enclosure or show how dust or spray mists from the CNC, Stone Slab Router, Water System or the Slab Edge Polisher are to be collected. Provide an analysis of any necessary exhaust systems to collect dusts and spray mists from the equipment. Reference: Section 502.1, IMC 2018.
