Please call out the MCR stations at both ends of the new driveway near Sta 57+75, as well. In general, more station starting and stopping points where stripes begin/change type/end would be beneficial. 4- Sheet 20, both roads: the same comment about station callouts for striping applies here, too. Review RESUBMITTAL REQUIRED: TDOT Permit Review Section has reviewed the subject PIA paving plan and does not recommend approval at this time. The following comments need to be addressed and plans revised prior to resubmittal. Please include a response letter addressing the following comments. 1. Sheet 2: Revise construction Grading Note 35 to indicate that the asphaltic concrete shall conform to PAG's Replacement Specification for Section 406 Asphaltic Concrete, dated December 12, 2019. 2. Sheet 1 through 20: Use current DTM title blocks. See Engineering Plan Template at: https://www.tucsonaz.gov/files/transportation/Engineering_Plan_Templates_Dec_2019.pdf 3. Sheet 7, Detail M1: Provide a pedestrian opening in the channelizing island. 4. Place a note on the plan indicating that Old Spanish Trail is under a pavement cut moratorium until June 10, 2021. A mill and inlay will be required for the entire width of the impacted lane. 5. Revise plan set to use only one stationing system. 6. Revise roadway profiles to include a profile of the existing and proposed edge of pavement along Old Spanish trail and Houghton Rd. Include existing grade, label all grade brakes with stationing and grades and indicate running slopes. 7. Clearly indicate proposed slope protection and grading details for all new established slopes. 8. Provide complete grading details for reconfigured grater ditches. 9.
