Review RESUBMITTAL REQUIRED: TDOT Permit Review Section has reviewed the subject PIA paving plan and does not recommend approval at this time. The following comments need to be addressed and plans revised prior to resubmittal. Please include a response letter addressing the following comments and return redlined drawings with subsequent submittal. 1. Add the plan number "I-2019-036" in the title block of each sheet. 2. Add PIA activity number "T19PI0019" on cover sheet. 3. Add Development Plan Number on cover sheet. 4. Revise drawing to depict and label all existing utility poles, parking meters, building downspouts, trees, tree stumps, signs and etc. Also indicate their disposition. 5. Sheet 1: Revise General Construction Note #3 to indicate the use of City of Tucson Mix #2. 6. Sheet 1: Revise drawing legend to include all lines and symbols used in drawing. 7. Sheet 2: Indicate engineer's pavement subgrade preparation recommendations for the pavement replacement on Herbert Ave. 8. Sheet 2: Revise drawing to include all proposed improvements in the ROW. Provide complete details for new curb, sidewalk, downspouts and driveway aprons. 9. Provide details for the proposed sidewalk brick pavers (concrete brick are preferred) along 5th Ave. and Herbert Ave. Provide paver pattern detail. 10. Sheet 2: Include existing and proposed gutter and top of curb profile in Herbert Avenue profile view. 11. Sheet 2: Provide stationing, offsets and elevations for proposed curb islands on 5th Avenue. 12. Sheet 2: Provide radius returns on proposed curb islands on 5th Avenue. 13. Sheet 2: Indicate the final surface treatment for the proposed curb islands on 5th Avenue. 14. Provide details for any signing and striping changes. It appears that the center line striping on 5th Ave will have to be revised to accommodate proposed islands. 15. Sheet 2: Revise drawing to square off pavement replacement area on 5th Street, see redlines. 16. Sheet 2: Call out and provide details of the proposed vertical transitions for curb and sidewalk on 5th Ave, include stationing, offsets, grades and elevations. 17.
